M- Learning

 Nowadays, people are highly glued into digitalisation. These days almost all people can be found with their smartphones and these are being used for various purposes like communicating, online shopping, online games and so on. Not only that, it is being used for learning purposes as well which simply means mobile learning. So to access the learning process by the use of mobile devices is the m-learning. With the use of the mobile phone, it is possible to learn whenever and wherever you want, as long as you have the modern mobile device connected to the internet.

This method of learning is very convenient and all generation can benefit from it. It is very easy method of learning or obtaining all the knowledge from all around the world  with  just a 'click button'. Mobile learning helps to generate your own ideas and even help to share your content in between the mass of people. Mobile learning facilitates more motivation, real- time feedback (Priscilla- March5, 2021). I believed that  this type of learning process helps to make the learner more self-disciplined and focused. Similarly , it has many merits like no cost will be wasted on buying books, hiring an instructor, printing materials and all cause everything can be gained through the internet which is really effective for both teachers and the students. However, there can be some disadvantages of m- learning as well, for instance peoples highly get  engaged with the devices which affects their social relation. Likewise, their dependency on the technology makes them less interactive and this type of learning lacks the practice based learning. Simply, m-learning cannot replace the knowledge that comes through hand-on experiences.

Challenges and possibilities of adopting  mobile learning in the classroom
      • These days students have an easy access to the mobile devices however, this  furious adoption of mobiles devices within learning has presented many new challenges for the education leaders. Here i mentioned few challenges:
1. Designing learning materials for mobile devices
2. Preventing security and privacy issues
3. Dealing with connectivity and battery life
4. Avoiding the risk of distraction
5. Difficulties on doing the correct evaluation of student's performance

As we all know that mobile learning process offers ultimate accessibility and flexibility to the learners. The learners can easily get the knowledge wherever and whenever they want. We can easily implement m- learning in classroom. For instance;

1. We  can organise a poll or a quiz for the active participation of the students in classroom.

2. Can even use different tools to engage  the students .

3. Incorporating video segments.

4. Building internet - related activities
